A tourist's guide to Harbendane!

A quick second post for today, because I want to share this ... the map was just finished for THE LORDS OF HARBENDANE -- and it's quite a piece of work. Incidentally, this also was done with Serif. (See this morning's post for more about the software: http://mel-keegan.blogspot.com/2008/11/pod-publishing-how-to-get-your-book.html), and right now, take a look at this:

(It's uploaded at 200dpi -- click for the large view)

And of course, I shared the cover with you last week -- or was it the week before?

You'll be reading the first chapter on the blog here in a few days. All, uh, very exciting. Stay tuned...

Ciao for now,
MK

Woah - I loooooove this cover. And y'know, he does remind me of someone, but I can't place it. I think it might be a West Indies "dream timem" cricket player from the 1980s?????

Jade: did you add the mane of dreadlocks to somebody like Mike Holding or Jeff Dujohn? I know it's definately not I.V.A. Richards, but ... I mean, the faces are different, but I can see SOMEBODY, and it's killing me here!!

Great map, too. Can't wait for the book ... and (he he he) I'm one of an incredibly privileged minority because - being a 'proofie' - I've read most of it already - :)
